I acknowledge with respect that I am working as a counsellor on the territories of the lək̓ʷəŋən peoples and the Songhees, Esquimalt and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day. I am an uninvited settler on these territories. The forces of colonialism are ongoing, as are resistances to it and my intention is that the work I do support efforts towards decolonization.
